The ambition of both organisations is to improve healthcare and outcomes for patients and communities. ![]() The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is jointly organised by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and BMJ. Each conference showcases strategies from local experts and the international community, addressing regional needs and bringing in the best of global learning to the region. The programme for each International Forum is developed in close partnership with regional strategic partners. Showcasing regional perspectives, bringing in international expertise We bring together healthcare improvers, including patients, from different parts of the world to discuss and share examples of innovation that can be replicated and to form long-term connections. We believe that improvement and transformation involve everyone in an organisation. They connect to form long-term partnerships and to consider new ways of thinking about healthcare. Over 4,700 participants from 80+ countries attend our International Forums each year and tackle today and tomorrow’s critical health and healthcare challenges.
